If you’re still looking for a ticket to the 109th Grey Cup in Regina, you may want to set a reminder for Tuesday at 12 noon ET.
Tickets for the event are going on sale to the general public for the first time on June 14 after being made available to Saskatchewan Roughriders season ticket holders in May. According to Rob Vanstone of the Regina Leader-Post, there are only around 6,000 tickets remaining for the big game.
Ticket prices range from $227.55 to $517.35, though there are also standing room spots available from $185.55 to $206.55. It is unclear how many tickets remain available at each particular price point.
The 109th Grey Cup is scheduled for Sunday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. It will be the first Grey Cup played at Mosaic Stadium and the first to be held in Regina since 2013.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders last appeared in the CFL’s title game in 2013 when they beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats by a score of 45-23 to win the 101st Grey Cup on home soil. Kory Sheets was named the game’s Most Valuable Player after rushing for 197 yards and two touchdowns, while Regina native Chris Getzlaf was named the game’s Most Valuable Canadian.
