Raising a child can be no easy take for even the strongest of mums, not to mention raising three, while balancing royal duties with charity work and looking fashionable while doing so. But it would seem Kate Middleton has got it all down to a fine art.
The Duchess of Cambridge even looks almost identical to the first day she officially joined the Royal Family after marrying Prince William more than a decade ago. She has reportedly managed to remain a size six after giving birth to her three children, George, Charlotte and Louis over the years thanks to a strict exercise regime and a healthy diet.
So how does the 40-year-old royal do it? And what does she eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner to help keep her full of energy to carry out all of her duties? Healthy eating and news publication EatThisNotThat has revealed all.

According to the website, Kate kicks starts her day with an energy-boosting breakfast of oatmeal, alongside a homemade smoothie, which reportedly is a blend of kale, spinach, romaine, spirulina (a type of algae) and blueberries.
For lunch, the Duchess is said to load up on antioxidant-rich foods and plenty of raw ingredients. One of her go-to meals reportedly being a watermelon salad with avocado, onions, cucumbers, and feta cheese. Although Kate is not vegetarian, it is said that she likes to eat mostly vegetarian dishes for lunch, such as vegetable kebabs and lentil curry.
To help combat cravings throughout the day, Kate often snacks on raw vegetables and fruit, including goji berries, and if she’s in a savoury mood, the mother-of-three has been known to graze on popcorn. She’s also admitted to being quite partial of olives. “I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little, as well,” she told a four-year-old at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2018.
By dinnertime Kate will regularly opt to cook up homemade traditional dishes with her children, such as pizza and pasta. For the times she is not at home, she is said to enjoy eating sushi.
Ending on something sweet, Kate is often fond of digging into a sticky toffee pudding, Darren McGrady – the previous chef for the royal family – has said. The dessert consists of a moist sponge cake, made with finely chopped dates, covered in a toffee sauce and often served with a vanilla custard or vanilla ice-cream.
